This DVD contains a whole gaggle of distinctly unique short films that are deliberately hard to categories and present some exemplary technical prowess on behalf of each production team involved. Ranging anywhere from 4 to 22 minutes and similarly ranged in quality, most have some kind of horror theme or message that is portrayed through the medium, whether it be in the form of a music video or in an experimental format. Below is a flavor of some of the more outstanding shorts: -
LionTown by Aaron Croziek (10 mins)
A great little tale spun in musical format about a bunch of animals looking for something more to their lives. When they see an advert for 'Liontown' they up sticks and move to this promised land of fun and fortune, but does their new home hide a vicious secret?
Sedgewick by Stephen M Lashly (22 mins)
An old man takes a trip on the wild side after coming into contact with an hallucinogenic drug which induces the journey of a life time. This short is possibly my favorite on the DVD and is very amusing and contains some excellent visuals.
Victim by Jason Christ (5 mins)
In the lonely dark night a group of friends lay dead on the cold ground. The only survivor is a frightened girl trying to escape the clutches of a killer. Armed with an axe she finds help, but does the girl know more about the killer than she thinks.
This DVD contains some very surreal and graphic images including a fair amount of full on nudity and gore, but look past these obvious gratuities and open your mind to something a little different and you might just find that you enjoy the experience. This is a fantastic show ground for upcoming talent and proves that even in a few minutes a dark, lingering impression can be etched into the viewers subconscious.
