Plot
Seven graduating sorority sisters decide to throw a graduation party at their sorority house despite the objections of the resident house mother. Following an embarrassing altercation between the house mother and one of the girls, a foolish prank is played that results in the old woman's death. Unable to cope with the accidental death, the girls decide to temporarily hide the body and not inform the police until after the party. On the night of the party, each girl is individually stalked and murdered in a grizzly fashion by an unknown assailant. There is only one girl left alive to tell the tale... and the one person who can reveal the truth may be the one who wants her dead.
Analysis A fairly sedate pace is set in this 'stalk + slash' movie from the early eighties that see's a group of sorority girls fall prey to an unknown killer after a prank goes badly wrong resulting in the death of the old lady that runs the house. Now for all you British folk that might not have a clue what a 'Sorority' is, it's my guess that it's similar to a club or group that have to become a member of. A little like our brownies but these girls are all grown up and defiantly not innocent.
The production value is your typical low grade horror film with basic dialogue and wooden characters. Most of the main players have very few redeeming features that make the viewer want to bond with them, and as each gets bumped off one by one you kind of think "she deserved that" which I think over comes the terror which one should be feeling for the on screen victims. Kate McNeil's character, Katey is about the only character that makes an impact and that's partly down to the fact that she survives until the end of the movie and was the only girl who didn't want to pull the prank that killed the house mother. The only other actresses that make a minor ripple in the film do so at the expense of their clothes, so life's not so bad after all.
There's not a lot else to say about this film that isn't covered in individual sections below, so carry on down to see what the blood, nudity and plot are like.

Action

None

Even the obligatory 'running away from the killer' scenes could hardly be called action but merely movement of the arms and legs.

Tension
The tension is the one thing that kept me awake. Just about every scene that saw one of the sorority girls separate from the others produced a good amount of gripping atmosphere. Even though the climax to each scene is a little lackluster you still felt those butt cheeks clench.

Violence/
Gore
For a horror movie that was released during the golden age of VHS video nastiness, this is a relative low key affair. Yep there's blood but the methods used to make it flow are bland by today's standards. The gore highlight can be seen below in the excellent, but brief 'head-in-the-toilet' shot.

Bare Flesh
Surprisingly, for a film with such a temptingly seductive title, we only see a couple of very brief breast shots. Don't be fooled into thinking that this movie is a veritable smorgasbord of nudity because it's not.

Plot
Wafer thin but serves it's purpose well enough. There is a surprising little plot twist about three quarters of the way through that throws you a curve ball but this is ultimately a brain out slasher movie.
Verdict A film that wasn't outrageous enough to stand the test of time. Had it been bloodier and more violent then we would be looking at a slightly higher score but it was never going to be a master piece. Worthy of a watch on TV or cable and even a rental when the shelves are bare but only buy it if you see this baby in a bargain bin (which is a very good chance) or you have a crush on one of the cast members.
